Does this have anything to do with Taiyo Matsumoto's No. 5 recently getting a release on the iPad? Eh, I'd rather have a hard-copy myself.

Mmm...could be. ;). Re: books I'm a paper-and-ink loyalist myself, but lots of folks seem to be liking the digital.

You don't have any shades of gray in your poll. I'm waiting to see how things settle out with the iPad, the digital readers, digital publishing, etc., before I decide who, what, when and where. When I can actually KEEP what I buy in digital format, then I'll buy; until then, the satisfying feel and security of paper is the way to go.
PS: I just thought of something. Maybe viable, maybe not. Isn't the publishable form of graphic novels stored digitally? Could in..... Never mind.
It's too horrendously expensive.

If I have to buy it, I like reading things hard copy. but previews and the like are more convenient online. I'm totally buying House of Five Leaves after seeing the preview. (more like the first 2 volumes)

if im gonna buy it i love it in hardcopy but previews are more for online. im totaly buying house of five leaves after seeing it in an epic preview more of like ill buy them all gosh i just love it.
